new developments

well i am sorry that i have not been around in awhile but things have been ...well... crazy i guess you could say. well my wife finally had the baby it felt like we were going to be pregnant forever. she delivered our beautiful baby girl M. she was born july3rd in the afternoon. so she is now a little over 2 weeks. old. everyday she seems so much older than she did the day before. my sister recently said that it does nto seem to go by as fast as people say. for me it has only been 2 weeks and they have gone by in the blink of an eye. i know it does nto compare to 8 years but i can only imagine how fast they will fly by. however, like she said to do i will enjoy every minute of every day that i spend with my little girl and my beautiful wife. i have been off of work for the last 2 weeks and it has been great spending time with the 2 of them. as well my parents are in toen and have been helping out ALOT. they leave today and it will be sad to see them go. hopefully we will see them in 2 months. i have a cousin who is getting married in NY in september and we have been deciding on what we are going to do. we really want to go to the wedding and will see what we can do to make it there. E is recovering great from the delivery it went smooth and alot better than she was anticipating. it was actually funny after the baby came out my wife said .That was it?? i am glad that thinsg went easy for her, it just means that she will be fine to have another child. we are not talking about the near future but we would like to have more children in the years to come.
our new baby girl has been keeping us up @ nite especially my wife. and than when i wake up in the AM i take her out to the living room and try and let E get some zzzz's. it is really tough on her since she is breatfeeding, there is little that i can do to help. we have tried the bottle and M took to it very well. i did not think thaqt it would be much of a problem, she sucks on everything trying to milk it. she is adorable, i am sitting here right now looking at her as she sleeps in her little pink papasan chair. she loves this chair it vibrates and plays some music. i highly recomend that you get out and get one if you have alittle one that has problems sleeping through thte nite. it does nto work 100% of the time but i would say about 81.5% of the time your in good shape.
we have still not made up our minds about what we are going to do as far as staying in Cali or if we are going to move back to NYC. both have strong benefits for us, and is becoming a very tough decision. i think that when our lease is up here we will have a better picture of what we want to do. as well we are in the market for buying a new car. i have a camry right now and it works well. however, it has hit 113K miles and i think that i would like to have something a little more reliable and new. we have been weighing our options and are not just jumping into a decision without looking from all angles. we really like the dodge nitro. it is a mix between a jeep and a hummer. however, it is not as hollywood as a hummer and gets more miles to the gallon. than on the other end of the spectrum we are looking into the kia sportage. it is a sporty looking SUv and i think a good fit for a new family. gets better gas mileage than the nitro and is a little cheaper. we plan on getting something new within the month or so.. you will be updated when we have made ne decisions.
ok well my parents are on the way over from their hotel. they are leaving today so it will be my goodbye till september. i will catch up with you all a little later

the weekend

so we just got back today from spending the weekend in las vegas visting the inlaws. it was good to see the family. we really did nto get to see E's parents however we did get to spend time with her sister which i knwo always makes her happy and that makes me happy. we left friday afternoon and were there till this morning not a long time but at least they got to see her pregnant. she is gettin bigger and glowing more everyday. granted the baby is kicking more and harder than b4 she still seems happy. she is a cpompletly differnt person than she was a few months ago when she was sick and miserable. i am glad that she has made it through that and seems to be at least enjoying the pregnancy now. we are only 7and a hlaf weeks away from the due date. time did fly by people always tell you that and you try not to beleive it. however it really did. it seems like just last month that we were away in Hawaii on our honeymoon.
over the weekend we stopped into babies r us and got some things since there was less sales tax there. as well my parents once again did more than they needed to and they decided to buy us the crib. it should be here really soon. within the week. that is pretty much going 2 complete the nursery. we still do need to get a rocking chair a few other things to really make it complete. it came together really well and i am impressed how we did. like i told you b4 i will take some pics and make sure that i post them up here for all to see. i wish that she was able to grow up in the room but even if we decided to stay in Cali than i thinkt hat we would move out of the place that we are in now. it is expensive and would be smart to move out into a cheaper place to save some $$$. i love it out here in cali. however the family is in NY. i want my child to grow up in the same wonderful atmosphere that i was raised. it is difficult because now i have a life out here as well. i guess than in time we will be abel to come to the right decision for us. you will all be informed as soon as we know something. have no fear!
peace out

almost here

so we are 9 weeks away from the arrival of our beautiful baby girl. We are so excited, time is just flying by. Last nite E was feeling some pain in her back and her tummy has been getting hard. so we called the Dr. and she wanted us to come in this mornign because she thinks that it is possible that E is already having contractions. Thsi would be pretty early for that to start so the Dr. wants her to come in so that she can examine her and see what is going on in there. we are not quite ready for her arrival yet, we are almost done with the nursery. it looks great i will be sure that we post up some pics for all to see. It matches the coloe scheme that we chose for bedding sugarplum. i am sure that this weekend we will be getting more stuff we have a bunch of our closest friends coming over for a baby shower.
we actually got suprised last weekend with a baby shower thrown by my wonderful parents. we just flew in for the weekend so that they could see E while she was prego. she is getting a little bigger in the stomach everyday it is so cute. we had a wonderful time while we were visiting mom and dad. even though the wheater was HORRIBLE we still had a great time. we played some canansta which we have not done in a long time. everytime we play it brings me back to being a kid playing with them @ the jersey shore @ a house that we use to borrow from a buddy of my dads. we have been sayin that we should rent a house one week and have a blast. i think that would be a wonderful idea. the family is growing since we have been down there so i think that we will need to look into gettin a pretty large place. still a great idea though. i plan on taking my little baby to the beach as much as possible. it was a place that i loved to go to as a kid and still to this day love it. i have not been there as much as i wish i could get there but it is always there when i want to.
ok well i need to get in the shower now E just got out. we are gettin ready to go to the Dr. for the exam and than immediatly after that we are going to work, and will be there till 7pm tonite. my job has been having us work from 7-7 all this week. it starts to take a strain on your after some time. we did fall a little bit behind becasue i have not been there, however i am not the only one that has not been there. oh well i like the money anyway.
talk to you all in a little bit

friday

well it is already friday seemed like a quick week. maybe because i was in classes and training all week @ work. it is already easter weekend. i do not think that we are going to do all that much, maybe paint some eggs and that is about it. it is not the same being away from family. however we are starting our own E and I. we already have the puppy the cat and a baby on the way. i am excited only about 83 days away from the due date. it is really flying by. we need to finish working on the nursery and i am sure that we will continue to work on it this weekend, especially since i do not have work in the AM .. we are suppose to go up to LA to vist our friend Sam. we have not seen her in awhile and she was actually one of E's bridesmaids for the wedding. Sasha muffin is gettin so big i will actually update the blog soon woth some pictures. she is sop smart she is able to sit. lay down, roll over and even play dead now. she is almost a year old and acts like a little old lady it is funny.
last nite i held the basball practice. mike and his family went away camping for the weekend as well brian has been out of town visting family for the weekend. we had a few kids show up. only about 5 but it is ok it really gave me the chance to sit with each one of them and really try to work with them. it is amazing to see the improvement of some of the kids. drastic to say the least. the one child that i said was his first time playing. you shoudl see him he loves playin infield and knockin the ball down and turning double plays. that is one things that i really miss. playin SS i may not have been the best but i loved to turn double plays. if you get it down right it is one of the most beautiful plays in baseball. so smooth and rythmic. the transfer from the glove to the hand to the first basemans glove. poetry in motion.
so next week i am going to try and fit in another practice but i am not 100% if i will be able to between work and we are flying out of town next week. we are going back to NY to visit my parents. i love going back to visit. it makes leaving tougher every time. we know that soon we will be living back there, who knows when but we know that is where we want to settle down and start our family. well i need to get ready becuase i have to go pick up my beautiful wife from work. hope to hear back from you all.

been to long

well i know that it has been a long time since i have been around here. i have been crazy we are having a baby which you all know. it is only about 88 days away from the due date. the time is just flying by. today we actually started painting our nursery. it looks really cut. we did pink on. the top and lavendar on the bottom. the border in the middle will be sugarplum. which is butterflies in the same color scheme that we have the walls in. we are very excited to meet our baby girl. we have decided on a name, and it is .............
just kidding i am unable to release that info at this time. not till the baby is born. sorry. she is growing so quickly and moving around non-stop. E is finally able to enjoy her pregnancy. it is crazy a few months ago we were not gonna have another kid. now we are talking about having another one. i thought that it was the cutest thing when i heard her say that she would actually be sad when she is not pregnant ne more. a complete 180 from where we were about 4 months ago. i am happy to finally see her doing better, i get sad to see her sick or not feeling well and there is nothing that i can do about it.
on another note, baseball is going well. we are doing pretty good. i would say that we look like a completly different team than we did a few months ago when we started. the kids are having a blast and so are the coaches. granted that we would like to win a few more games, but it is not all about winning at this point. the first half of the season the stats do not count and do not carry over. however, starting tomorrow they do. the first game of the second half of the season. stats count and it is all on the line. i think that we are alot better than we were when we first started. at this point, we are able to put kids in the position that we feel they are best at. there are a few kids that really stand out, as well as a few kids that have drastically stepped up their game. it is good to see a kid whim has never played the game b4, let alone did not know the difference between a ball and a strike. it really makes it worth all of the time that you put into it. i must admit that it is more than a bargained for when i decided to join, but i am sure glad that i did. i have alot of fun gettin out there. it just makes me realize how much that i love playing the game .. and this is the next best thing.
what else??????? well work is goign ok. same as it has always been i guess a little bit better since they gave me a raise. nothing really note worthy but it is better than not getting ne thing i guess. i am still doing the same thing . there was a position that had opened up in management that i felt i deserved. besides A-dawg i have been there the longest. i felt that we deserved the position. however, we got jacked by some ass clown from a different center. i do not care if he reads this even he knows that he is a clown. it seems that i am doing his job ne way .. he is always coming up to me and asking me how to do things. it really upsets me that they would rather higher from outside than from the inside. a guy who knows exactly what they want and expect. who has been there 4 years and done anything and everything that they request of. oh well i guess thatis just how the corporate world is. maybe it is time to do something different. my good buddy is a photographer and i have shown interest in it. it is fun to shoot people(with a camera.. duh) catch moments in their life that they can look back on. he did a great job on our wedding and i would recommend him to anyone for anything that you would possibly need a picture for. www.peshphoto.com
alright all well i have to get moving.. i will catch up with you all a little later
peace out

A Rainy Day

Weel it is sunday and it is raining. which i guess is all good because i am ironically feeling under the wheater. i have not been feeling good all week. however now all of a sudden i got kicked hard. last nite i must have gotten about an hour of sleep total. my nose was so stuffed and i was coughing like a an old timer w/ emphazema. i wen tout and got meds but it always doesn't work. i just hope that i get better we have baseball tommorow. as well we are going to our official ultrasound and at that point we should know the sex of our baby. we want to know what it is. the excitement is to much not to know. i do not care what it is boy or girl as long as it is healthy and looks like its mother :)
last nite we went to our friend Brian and Melissa's house and ate dinner and than played an arousing game of Balderdash. It is a fun game and i have actually played before w/ my family. It is a game where you make up definitions to things. such as people and movie plots. you can get really creative with some of the answers. Well mike won the first game, but i dominated the 2nd. We created a dash off and he ended up pulling out the vistory. Good job mike well deserved.
Everything else in life is just kinda moving along. my job is still the same as it was. Only thing is that we are doing a little bit better so management is layin off a little bit. i am actually putting my foot forward and tryin to change things up. maybe move into a different depatment or something. i really think that it is time for a change i have been doing the EXACT same boring thing everyday 4 years straight now. i think that i am ready to move on. i have learned so much at my time in my position and will use the tolls and knowledge that i have been given to continue to better myself.
other than work married life is wonderful. we really did not get experiance the newly weds thing for very long, since we are pregnant. but we love each other very much and are both looking forward to being parents. it is amazing they always say that you would just know when you found the right person. and they were right, it just feels right when we are together. when we kiss, when our eyes meet and when we touch you just know it is meant to be. E is starting to feel alot better than she has the past few months. i'm not sayin that she is 100% yet but there has definatly been a cease in the vomiting. as far as the pain i think that she is just gettin use to it by now.
what else???
well babeball is going well we have a pretty good team this year and have a few superstars that i think will really stand out in the league. those are the kinda kids that you just point in the right direction and they get it. however, there are a fews kids that are first time ball players and that is where it gets tough. that is where coaching really comes into play. not only do you have to teach them the fundementals and the mechanics. but as well you have to teach the rules of the game. i guess i just take that for granted since i have been playin and watching ball for as long as i can remeber. we have alot of work cut out for us this season. i think that all 3 of us are really up to the challenge and dedicated to the team 100%.
