A Rainy Day

Weel it is sunday and it is raining. which i guess is all good because i am ironically feeling under the wheater. i have not been feeling good all week. however now all of a sudden i got kicked hard. last nite i must have gotten about an hour of sleep total. my nose was so stuffed and i was coughing like a an old timer w/ emphazema. i wen tout and got meds but it always doesn't work. i just hope that i get better we have baseball tommorow. as well we are going to our official ultrasound and at that point we should know the sex of our baby. we want to know what it is. the excitement is to much not to know. i do not care what it is boy or girl as long as it is healthy and looks like its mother :)
last nite we went to our friend Brian and Melissa's house and ate dinner and than played an arousing game of Balderdash. It is a fun game and i have actually played before w/ my family. It is a game where you make up definitions to things. such as people and movie plots. you can get really creative with some of the answers. Well mike won the first game, but i dominated the 2nd. We created a dash off and he ended up pulling out the vistory. Good job mike well deserved.
Everything else in life is just kinda moving along. my job is still the same as it was. Only thing is that we are doing a little bit better so management is layin off a little bit. i am actually putting my foot forward and tryin to change things up. maybe move into a different depatment or something. i really think that it is time for a change i have been doing the EXACT same boring thing everyday 4 years straight now. i think that i am ready to move on. i have learned so much at my time in my position and will use the tolls and knowledge that i have been given to continue to better myself.
other than work married life is wonderful. we really did not get experiance the newly weds thing for very long, since we are pregnant. but we love each other very much and are both looking forward to being parents. it is amazing they always say that you would just know when you found the right person. and they were right, it just feels right when we are together. when we kiss, when our eyes meet and when we touch you just know it is meant to be. E is starting to feel alot better than she has the past few months. i'm not sayin that she is 100% yet but there has definatly been a cease in the vomiting. as far as the pain i think that she is just gettin use to it by now.
what else???
well babeball is going well we have a pretty good team this year and have a few superstars that i think will really stand out in the league. those are the kinda kids that you just point in the right direction and they get it. however, there are a fews kids that are first time ball players and that is where it gets tough. that is where coaching really comes into play. not only do you have to teach them the fundementals and the mechanics. but as well you have to teach the rules of the game. i guess i just take that for granted since i have been playin and watching ball for as long as i can remeber. we have alot of work cut out for us this season. i think that all 3 of us are really up to the challenge and dedicated to the team 100%.

DAy 1

well today was the first day of basebaLL practice. i think that it went very well it seemed that all of the kids really had a good time and enjoyed playin ball. we set a schedule and tried our best to stick w/ it. only problem was that we did not have all of the kids there. i went into today a little nervous. it being the first time that i have coached a team in quite some time. i have been away from the sport. even though it is like riding a bike. there are a few large differences. things that take time gettin back into the swing of. like tryin to communicate what you are tryin to say to 9-10 year old terms. i noticed it when i used the word convey and one of the little boys looked at me like i was a creature from another planet. as the practice went on things started gettin a little bit better and that kids started working together as a team. breaking off into groups is good for the fact that you get to work a little more on certain skills that a child may need to develop. however, it is a team we need to play as a team. i think between mike, brian and myself that we are gonna have a great year. the kids seem gung-ho on playin ball. they all seem to be pretty good as well. considering that they are only 9 years old. it is hard to teach them why you do something a certain way that you have just done naturally since as long as you can remeber. i think teaching the fundametals is what is tough. i actually had the priveledge of being in charge of the pitching session. i would say one of the most difficult things to teach. it breaks down into such mechanics. i have a pretty good eye at seeing what they are doing wrong, i tell them what i think that they can do to improve it and than they just forget.
it is all good it is only day 1. and it is all suppose to be about fun. i will just take it in stride and make sure thast the kids walk away from every game and practice smiling and feeling like they did the best that they could. win or lose. (of course it always feels good to win though)
